Compliance
Promethia treats compliance as part of luxury discipline. No fragrance is released for sale until the necessary cosmetic safety, labelling, responsible person and product information requirements are in place.
A named Responsible Person is in place for each market in which a product is sold, as required under applicable cosmetic regulation.
Each product carries a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) before release.
A Product Information File (PIF) is maintained and kept available for the relevant authority for the required retention period.
Each finished product is notified through the appropriate cosmetic product notification portal for the market of sale.
INCI ingredient declarations are provided in accordance with cosmetic labelling requirements.
Listed fragrance allergens are declared where required by the applicable regulation.
Each unit carries a batch code traceable to its production record.
Nominal content is declared on outer packaging in accordance with weights and measures rules.
Required warnings are presented on outer packaging and product information where applicable.
Alcohol-based fragrance is classed as limited-quantity dangerous goods. Shipping is handled in accordance with the relevant transport regulations.
This page describes the compliance disciplines Promethia operates under. Specific certifications, audits and statutory documents are held with the Responsible Person and are not claimed as completed unless verified for the product in question.
